Although, what was with taking Kirk Douglas’s cane?Kirk Douglas: charming or cringe worthy?JW: Did you enjoy the 94 year old icon’s teasing out his time on stage or did you find it uncomfortable? I have mixed feelings about award show producers trotting out movie icons for posterity’s sake remember Elizabeth “Gladiator!” Taylor at the 1998 Golden Globes? but Douglas did really seem to be having a blast.EG: I’ll admit I was slightly scared when Douglas began, but he won me over with time. Given all that he’s dealt with, you have to admire his determination. And I did laugh at the ongoing “You knows.”Billy Crystal shows ’em how it’s doneJW: In a short missive from behind the scenes Sunday night, an Associated Press reporter noted at one point: “Wow.
Excuse me? Trump went on national tv and asked the Russians to commit acts of espionage on an American citizen ffs. That behavior (public conspiring to commit felonies) requires an explanation. It is not normal.. Gary Isett is the mastermind behind the yard. He’s a born and raised Dallasite who moved to Richardson about 20 years ago to start his family, but moved into the house on Abrams in July 2012. We have been sued by the corporation quite simply because roughly 45 days ago we exercised our legal right to terminate our old, out of date contract, which, according to the law is null and void.We terminated for a number of reasons, which we won’t go into here (we’d rather not air any dirty laundry) but basically our representatives could not get EMI to agree to make a fair and reasonable deal.If you think the fact that we have sold in excess of 2 million records and have never been paid a penny is pretty unbelievable, well, so do we. And the fact that EMI informed us that not only aren’t they going to pay us AT ALL but that we are still 1.4 million dollars in debt to them is even crazier. That the next record we make will be used to pay off that old supposed debt just makes you start wondering what is going on.
Canada for example, the OTQ was much faster than the standard in 2016, so running the standard did not even qualify you to run in the trials. However, in both Canada and in the US if you run the OTQ time or faster you automatically are eligible to run in the trials. Actually I don know of any country that doesn let you run in the trials if you have the standard pretty much across the board if you have run the OTQ you can run.
